CNC Operator - Fabcon (Santa Ana, CA)

Job Summary:

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This role ensures quality, safety, and productivity standards are met in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)

* Load raw materials and unload finished parts

* Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning

* Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes as needed

* Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

* Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

* Perform deburring, cleaning, and basic finishing of parts

* Maintain a clean and safe work area

* Follow all safety and quality control procedures

* Report machine issues or defects to supervision

Requirements:

* Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred

* Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools

* Strong attention to detail and quality

* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

* Reliable attendance and punctuality

* Steel-toe shoes required

* Background check required; ITAR compliance may apply

Work Environment:

* Manufacturing/metal fabrication facility
